Estas películas pertenecientes al llamado genero pinku eiga o pinky violence, esas películas eróticas con violencia, la sexploitation japonesa de los años 70, en donde los desnudos, las violaciones, y las torturas son parte de las películas, pero no lo más importante.

Esta película no es, simplemente una excusa para mostrar desnudos, no es una película erótica sin nada más que aportar que sexo. Son películas con argumentos elaborados con un toque de feminismo y critica política, y hasta cierto punto brillantes, de yakuzas, samuráis, pandilleras, mujeres en la cárcel, etc. con elementos eróticos.

De “chicas malas” que representan una visión de la mujer en esta clase de película es totalmente diferente a lo que podría ser una “típica” película erótica; aquí, la mujer es fuerte, y los hombres suelen ser unos cerdos repugnantes.

In her third film, director Norifumi Suzuki's Modern Porno Tale: Inherited Sex Mania (1971), Reiko Ike co-starred with French erotic actress, Sandra Julien. Eirin, the Japanese film-rating board, objected to the graphic lesbian scenes between the two actresses, and this film had to be severely cut before it could be released theatrically. Ike decided to stop performing in nude scenes after this film, concentrating instead on films in the delinquent girl sub-genre of S&M films. Ike starred in five of Toei's seven Sukeban (delinquent schoolgirl) films made between 1971 and 1974.
